SETUP MENU

TIMER SETUP: Sleep Timer

The Sleep Timer programs the TV to automatically turn itself off after a period from 15 minutes up to 4 hours.

From Setup Menu

* Make sure the TV's clock is

set.

- Select Timer Setup to view

the Timer Menu.

• Press on Sleep Timer repeat-

edly to set the period of time

the TV will remain on.

Direct Access.

• Move pointer to left of screen

to view the TV Option Menu.

• Point and press on Timer

repeatedly to set the period of

time the TV will remain on.

• Move pointer away from

menu to remove it from view.

• One minute before the TV turns off, the GOOD NIGHT display

appears on the screen. At this time you have a choice of the fol-

lowing two actions.

• Do nothing. The Cd3OD NIGHT display remains on the screen.

The TV will turn off in one minute.

• Delay the turn-off by resetting the timer with a new time period.

NOTE:

• To cancel the Sleep Timer, turn off the TV or return to the Timer

feature and set it to OFF.

• As the Good Night display counts down the final 60 seconds, the

audio and video of hte TV also "dim" for a soft, discreet turn-off.

ON/OFF TIMER

The On/Off Timer programs the TV to automatically turn itself on at a specific time, then turn itself off at another time.

• Make sure clock is set to Timer Setup.

• Select On Time. In the Status barat the bottom, point and press

on the hours and minutes to adjust them to the time you want the

TV to ttu_nitself ON. Point and press on AM (or PM) to toggle

them.

• Select On Time. In the Status bar at the bottom, point and press

on the hours and minutes to adjust them to the time you want the

TV to turn itself OFF. Point and press on AM (or PM) to toggle

them. Or, press on the arrows to move time forward or backward.

• Select ON/OFF Timer and press on it to turn thetimer ON (or

OFF).

NOTE:

• A time must be set for either On Time or Off Time in order to turn

the timer ON.
